Charity Funday at Coed Helen this Bank Holiday Sunday!
Coed Helen Holiday Park - August 22nd 2016
After what was an all too brief heat wave earlier last week it seems the weather is back to typical British summer time... Drizzle! However, it's not all doom and gloom with some sun forecast for this week - just keep you're fingers crossed that it stays for this upcoming bank holiday weekend.
It's Sunday funday this weekend (28th August) as Coed Helen is hosting a day full of games and activities all in aid of the charity Higher Ground. Higher Ground helps with ex-military personnel transition back into civilian life which I'm sure you will agree is a very worthy cause.
Activities on the day from 10:30am onwards and include trampolining and climbing tower, face paint, games, charity auction, tombola - donations would be hugely appreciated for this, as well as a barbecue from 4pm - 7pm , 2-4-1 on cocktails and special drinks offers in Molly's.
The price for the barbecue is £10.00 for adults and £5.95 for children and we will be serving a wide selection of food including burgers and cheeseburgers, veggie burgers and veggie sausages from the Molly's kitchen, 5oz gammon, french fries, coleslaw, potato salad, couscous salad, mixed leaf salad, corn the cob, tomato and basil salad - so you won't be going hungry! Food vouchers for the barbecue are on sale now, available in the main reception area.
Also, between the hours of 3pm - 5pm on Saturday 17th August we will be showing off the brand new BK Caprice on the showground so come in and take a look with a glass of bubbly.
It is going to be a great weekend, all in aid for a great cause so we hope you'll all come down and have join us in a great day.
