For those who have not already heard 2016 has been named the Year of Adventure in Wales. This aims to put Wales on the map as the world’s centre for adventure tourism.
This will be the first of three years promoting Wales, as it is followed by the Year of Legends and then the Year of the Sea.
North Wales in particular is expecting a rush of visitors, all seeking to discover their special Wales Adventure and who can blame them with major adrenaline fuelled activities right on our door step, such as the world famous Zip World and Surf Snowdonia.
Coed Helen Holiday Park in Caernarfon has already seen a huge amount of bookings for the year ahead and we expect this to only increase so please book your 2016 holiday with us soon. We are in a prime location for all adventurers with the stunning North Wales coast just to our west and the rugged and stirringly beautiful Snowdonia National Park just to our east. Many local sporting and adventure attractions will be kicking it up a notch this year with special events and promotions so this is a really good time to come and discover North Wales.
We are so lucky to be based in such a wonderful location with views over Caernarfon Castle, out over the Menai Strait to Anglesey. This is an ideal location for anyone who loves sailing, canoeing, swimming, mountain biking and basically any outdoor sport you can think of.
