Christmas in Conwy
Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park - November 24th 2017
The end of another brilliant season at Berthlwyd looms ever closer but we know many of our owners and guests continue to use their holiday homes - especially with the Festive season now upon us. In fact, we would argue that there's not many places cosier than a lodge or caravan on Berthlwyd as the winter weather draws in over the Conwy Valley. We've decided to put together a summary of the Festivities that are occurring nearby in the coming weeks:
St. David's Spa Christmas Fayre - 2 Decemeber.
This is taking place in St. David's Spa on our sister site over in Red Wharf Bay. We will be hosting a Christmas Gift Event in association with lots of brilliant local businesses, craftsmen and artisans. What's more, entry is free! The event runs from 3pm - 7pm.
Bodnant Garden Elves Workshop, Tal-y-Cafn – various dates November & December.
This is a free event that runs from 25 November at Bodnant Garden located not far away in the Conwy Valley. Walk through the winter gardens and enter the Pin Mill. In here you can help Santa’s elves by making all sorts of crafts for Christmas that you can then take home with you. Normal admission prices apply.
Llandudno Christmas Parade, Llandudno – 2 December
On the 2nd December if you head over to Llandudno the action starts at 3pm outside the Town Hall and is then followed by the Christmas Parade with Santa Claus taking time out of his busy schedule to greet people from Llandudno Train Station and making his way around the town from 4pm.
Nadolig Betws-y-Coed, Betws-y-Coed – 2-3 December
The annual winter wonderland descends on the idyllic village’s annual Christmas festivities. The weekend promises to be a great opportunity to do some Christmas shopping as you will be guaranteed to find some unique gifts with a personal touch
The weekend event will also see fireworks, a traditional nativity play, arts and crafts stalls and Santa himself.
Conwy Winterfest, Conwy – 9 December
Closer to the park, in Conwy town centre - which is brilliant place to do Christmas shopping regardless of the Winterfest - there will be street entertainment befitting of a medieval town which includes musicians, choirs, morris dancers and sword fighters. At precisely 5:45pm join a torch lit procession around Conwy in the company of armoured knights, fair maidens and capering jesters - This will be a great day for youngsters.
RSPB Conwy Christmas Trail, Conwy – various dates December
Pay just £1 for a Christmas Trail sheet and participate in a hunt to find Santa's clothes which are strewn across the reserve. There’s a prize for everyone who completes the trail and helps Santa save Christmas. Normal admission prices apply.
