Coed Helen Walkers Annual Event 2019
Coed Helen Holiday Park - June 30th 2019
Every year Coed Helen's holiday home owners participate in an annual walk to raise money for worthy causes.
The details
This year our fundraising walk will be taking in the beautiful views at Penmon Point Anglesey on Saturday July 27th. We will be raising money for Alder Hey Children's hospital and Down Syndrome Association.
The walk
All owners and park patrons are welcome to join the easy circular 10km walk, which should take between 4 and 5 hours.
The day will start at Llangoed which is a couple of miles north of Henllys. There is free car parking nearby to the meet point. There will be a lunch break at the mid-point and walkers will be able to bring their own lunches or purchase food from Penmon Point Café. There is free parking at the car park by the river.
Points of interest along the walk include the lighthouse at Perch Rock, Puffin Island, Romanesque architecture at a medieval monastery, Penmon Priory, and an ancient dovecote and a castle.
Jazz and the team at Molly's will also be putting on a buffet for participants in the evening!
