Easter Escapes: Family Fun in North Wales
April 2nd 2025
Looking for the perfect family getaway this Easter? North Wales offers the ideal mix of fresh air, fun activities, and quality time — and our holiday parks are the perfect base for your spring adventure.
Easter at the Park
Easter is a magical time to visit. At our child-friendly parks like Berthlwyd near Conwy, families can enjoy safe, green spaces to explore and a warm community feel. This year, we’re planning some Easter-themed activities the little ones will love — from egg hunts on the lawn to craft mornings in the games room (check with your park for dates and times).
There’s plenty to enjoy just outside your door, too. Whether it's spotting lambs in nearby fields or tucking into hot cross buns at your lodge, the whole park comes to life with the spirit of spring.
Get Outdoors This Spring
North Wales in April is all about fresh sea breezes, blooming wildflowers, and the start of longer, lighter days. It’s the ideal time for families to reconnect with nature after a long winter. Take a beach walk along the Anglesey coast, explore woodlands with a picnic, or enjoy a casual stroll around Conwy’s historic walls.
We recommend a trip to Greenwood Family Park, just a short drive from many of our parks, or a visit to Gypsy Wood Park for little animal lovers. And if the weather turns, cosy up in your lodge or enjoy the indoor pool at Berthlwyd.
Taste of North Wales
No Easter break is complete without great food, and North Wales delivers. Visit a local deli or market to pick up seasonal treats — from artisan cheeses to handmade chocolates. Some of our owners swear by the Easter Sunday lunch at local pubs in Caernarfon or Menai Bridge, where roaring fires and hearty portions await.
Easter is one of the best times to enjoy a relaxed family break in North Wales. With space to roam, events to enjoy, and memories to be made — your perfect spring escape starts here.
