Family day out in Anglesey in September: Pili Palas
St. David's Park - September 8th 2021
Pili Palas Nature World is one of Anglesey well-known and best-loved attractions, combining brilliant fun for kids, all the while sneaking in some great education on animals, the environment and conservation.
With both indoor and outdoor attractions and elements, it’s great for this time of year as it can be enjoyed whether it’s nice and sunny, rainy… or a bit of both!
What to expect
Some of the attractions and activities that are sure to give you a memorable day out – and tire your kids out in the process – include:
- Exploring a tropical jungle full of butterflies
- Wandering through lizard land
- Meandering through the meerkat tunnel
- Bugging out in the bug zone – not for the squeamish!
- Discovering tropical creatures in the Tropical Hide
- Marvelling at singing parrots flying free in the bird house
- Holding their nerve in the snake house
- Petting cute and cuddlies in the pet corner
A creative and twist is also having a fun interactive quiz as your guide, rather than your typical map.
And if your kids still have the energy for more there’s plenty of play areas, including a soft play area and adventure course, bouncy castles, zip lines and much more.
Getting there from our parks
Pili Palas is easily reached from all of our three parks. Closest is St. David’s being just 15 minutes by car. Coed Helen takes 30 minutes and Berthlwyd 40 mins.
