Firework Displays Around Anglesey
St. David's Park - November 2nd 2016
Remember remember the 5th of November! It’s that time of the year again where we dig out the woolly hats, scarves and gloves for the first time since last Winter, subdue our whimpering pet dogs and spell out the letters of our name in the air with sparklers… Bonfire night!
How it has come around so quick we do not know!
We've listed the locations of some of the best events that are going on near Red Wharf Bay this year:
Beaumaris: This is the closest on our list. There will be a bonfire and fireworks display on Saturday, November 5 on The Green and Pier from 7pm until 8.30pm. The Town Mayor will light the bonfire near the Lifeboat Slipway at 7pm and the fireworks will begin at 7.30pm. The entry charge will be £5 per person, but children under 12 will be admitted free. This year, Beaumaris Town Band Brassaholics Jazz Section will provide live entertainment before the event from 5.30pm.
Bangor: Fireworks Display at Bangor Beach Road, on Saturday, November 5 from 7pm. Hot dog van and stalls. Display is free but donations are welcome. The Pier will also be open for a great viewing point – people regularly flock to the Pier area to gain a good view.
Holyhead: Bonfire on Saturday, November 5 at Penrhos Beach from 6.30pm and fireworks at 7pm. Hosted by Holyhead & District Round Table. Admission for children free; adults £3 (all proceeds go to good causes).
Trearddur Bay Hotel: Charity Bonfire and Firework display on Friday November 4th. Raising money for the Cancer Research UK appeal. Bonfire lit at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7pm. Free but donations requested.
