Our Commitment to Improving Our Environment

St. David's Park - September 12^th 2018

We at St. David's Park are committed to helping our own surrounding environment and the environment in general. Many of you will be aware that in 2016 we opened St. David's Spa, our pool and spa facility, which has since become a favourite spot with our holiday home owners and spa customers. When we built the spa and swimming pool, we were keen to incorporate green technology to make the building energy efficient. This included installing solar panels and a ground source heat pump which transfers the heat from the ground below.

This past month we have introduced another measure. Admittedly, it is more simple than the solar panels and ground source heat pumps, but hopefully it will prove just as effective in its own way.

We have teamed up #2minutebeachclean. The idea is simple - it's an A-frame board that dispenses bin bags and has a litter picker attached. When park users are walking along the beach they take the items from the board and do a quick 2 minute scan and pick up any discarded items and litter they comes across. We are proud of our location and the beach and we want to make sure it's as enjoyable as possible its customers.
