St David’s Fun Day 24th May
St. David's Park - April 13th 2015
St David’s family fun day is on Sunday 24th May this year, with all proceeds going to the RNLI the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. The day is open to residents and non-residents to maximise fundraising for this great charity.
Seawake boats are participating on the day, should you wish for you and your family to take a boat trip around the bay or take a trip to Puffin Island then contact us at reception to book your place. Puffin Island is an uninhabited island off the eastern tip of Anglesey home to the puffin and a whole host of other seabirds.th There are occasional sightings of grey seals and bottlenose dolphins and harbour porpoises along the coastline, too! Contact reception who can book you in. Alternatively we are operating kayaking around the bay offering you great exercise and great fun. Places can also be booked in reception.
There will also be arts and crafts for the younger children, and there will be lots of great raffle prizes to be won, such as tickets for a family or 4 for at Electric Mountain, Stena Sealink and for Greenwood Forest Park as well as many more prizes! Family games will also be coordinated around the park such as the three legged race, tombola and five aside football for 16 years plus.
We are currently looking to have stalls on site, where you can purchase from a great selection of cakes and sweets and the well-established ice cream providers Mon Ar Lwy will be here for the day serving up delicious home-made dairy ice cream.
We are in early stages of planning and will post again with further activities and amusements for the day. The RNLI rib boat will also make a guest appearance from the local Moelfre Lifeboat Station. So here is looking forward to a great day for everyone involved!
