St. David's Park re-opens
St. David's Park - July 29th 2020
Some good news - after working hard during lockdown to get St. David's Park and The Tavern ready to safely open, this month we have been able open again.
We have been following government advice throughout and introduced measures to make sure we can open and welcome owners back on site safely.
St. David's Park
A priority of our was to get the park ready whilst we were closed down so we could welcome our holiday home owners back as soon as possible.
We have introduced an online check-in so we know who is on the park and when. This will help with track-and-trace if anyone on park has coronavirus symptoms or covid-19. Track and trace will be an essential part of handling the coronavirus pandemic for as long as the virus is around. Therefore, we require all owners who visit their caravan or lodge to use this new system.
There has also been newly introduced measures in the way that staff operate with new office layouts and intercom systems to ensure that staff can work safely, maintaining social distance as per government advice.
Since lockdown has lifted there has been an increase in sales enquiries and rules have been put in place to ensure the sales sides of the business can operate safely.
The Tavern
We have already welcomed back many customers in The Tavern over the past month. This is thanks to the introduction of our new takeaway service that proved to be a hit with locals whilst the park was unable to open back up to owners.
We created and entire new menu specially tailored with takeaway in mind but with considerable effort in maintaining the brilliant dishes and standards our kitchen produces for sit-down meals.
More recently, we have also been able to reopen our gorgeous terrace for dining. There truly is nowhere better to sit and enjoy quality food safely alfresco! We have also worked here to create a new "Terrace menu" for this setting.
