Together We Raised £2200 for Charity!

Coed Helen Holiday Park - August 20^th 2018

We had a great turn out for our annual Charity Day despite the typical British Summer weather. First and foremost, a big thank you to everyone that joined us. It was a fantastic day. The scarecrow competition was truly brilliant thanks to to the effort that out owners put it - we could not believe the imagination, creativity and effort that went into them. We hope this will continue every year... Apart from the weather, of course!

The games we had outside were a great laugh. We all know that everyone loves a little egg and spoon though!

Thank you to Leisure Days insurance for donating the gorgeous Harrods hamper. The lucky winners were Mr & Mrs Lewis, Holiday Home Owners here on Coed Helen. We sold £500 worth of raffle tickets for the hamper  and the tombola raised a further £314 on the day. Molly’s kindly donated the BBQ and we took a percentage of the takings. Not forgetting the superb evening auction Graham Kirkwood - Lesley said "you nailed it that night!"

A big thank you must go to Lesley who put in a lot of effort in making the day the huge success it was. Lesley in turn would like to say a massive thank you to Molly’s restaurant for all there help and support, David Davis for singing in the afternoon and donating that wonderful water colour painting which went for an amazing amount of money and on the back of that, David is doing another painting for John Brumfitt who is also going to donating very generously. More thanks must be given to Sandra, Jean & Mel, Jean and Calor Gas for their donation of the patio heater and EVERYBODY who contributed to the day.
