Upcoming Events Near Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park
Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park - February 2nd 2015
Welcome to 2015 at Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park. We are delighted to see our holiday home residents and guests of the self-catered apartment return for another season of great vacations.
Already the frost is retreating and snowdrops are appearing across the Conwy countryside. We are looking forward to a great year ahead and if you are staying with us over the next couple of months there are plenty of great events taking place in Llandudno and across Conwy.
If you are looking for something a bit cultural then we suggest you pop into Llandudno on Friday the 6th February for the Mountain Film Festival. The festival brings an evening of wonderful short films. This is known as the world’s most prestigious film festival and will feature films about incredible adventures, action packed sports and inspiring footage from all over the globe.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival is taking place at Venue Cymru Theatre and tickets are now on sale.
If you are looking to get out and about and experience some of the beautiful natural landscapes near Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park then why not join the RSPB for some of their Saturday Wildlife Walks at Conwy’s RSPB Reserve. Guided walks take place on Saturday 7th February at 11am, Saturday 21st February at 11am and Saturday 28th February at 11am. Adult tickets are only £2 and the reserve is one of the most beautiful natural local attractions. It is very easy to find with the entrance just off the A55 on the Deganwy junction and yet when you enter the main section of the reserve it is a massive piece of land overlooking the marshes and water of the estuary. There is a great deal of native plant life with many varying habitats and of course a big population of native and migratory birds.
As spring dawns here at Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park there are even more great events to entertain you in the surrounding area. March brings the Welsh National Opera to Llandudno’s Venue Cymru Theatre on the 11th. This is a must see event for all Opera fans.
On the 26th March Conwy’s annual Seed Fair comes to town. Founded 700 years ago it is a great way to experience the local Welsh culture with lots of great stalls selling plants, seeds, honey, local crafts and more.
Of course spring gets us thinking about our gardens again. We are very much looking forward to seeing all the spring flowers return at the park and if you are an avid gardener yourself you may want to visit the Gardener’s Market at Conwy’s RSPB Reserve on the 12th April. Local nurseries and specialist plant sellers will be present, providing the opportunity to buy everyday garden specimens as well as far more exotic plants as well. If you are a novice gardener and need some tips this is the perfect event to head to this spring.
These are just a handful of great events taking place near Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park this season. If you would like to have an idyllic home away from home in the Conwy countryside check out our holiday homes for sale now. It is a great time to buy before the summer season kicks off.
