The Isle of Anglesey is a site of red squirrel conservation work and we have the largest population of red squirrels anywhere in Wales. If you spot one don’t forget to report your sighting. You can find native squirrels in any of Anglesey’s majestic forests and woodlands.
In addition to all the wildlife, nature, water sports and traditional Anglesey activities there is also a great host of events taking place this summer. St David’s Park are eagerly looking forward to the Menai Seafood Festival. It began back in 2013 and attracts well over a thousand visitors. Menai Bridge is only a very short journey from St David’s Park and the food festival takes place on the 22nd August.
