Water activities at St. David's Park
St. David's Park - January 30th 2020
It's no secret that the location of St. David's Park is what makes our park special. The direct access to a spectacular sandy beach and our own private slipway set us apart.
Here's three ways you can make the most of our seaside location.
Canoe & Kayaking
Kayaking and canoeing are two of the most popular activities amongst our holiday home owners.
A canoe is better when you want to share the experience of open water with family and friends. What makes canoeing particularly special is the comradely spirit of working together.
For those looking for a solo activity then kayaking is for you. This can be meditative... or even competitive if you have more than one - teenagers particularly like this aspect!
Whichever you choose, there’s not many better ways to get into the water and explore the rugged Anglesey coastline. It's great exercise and easy to get started!
Sailing
Sailing isn't as easy to star as kayaking, and it's advisable you take lessons to make sure you are completely safe and know what you're doing. There's plenty of local businesses that provide teaching.
What we love about sailing is, whatever you can do on land, it's always more fun at sea! Be that watching the sunset, quality time with the kids or a picnic. Being out on the water adds a spark.
Powerboating
This is another popular choice amongst our holiday home owners. You can see the boat park full of (mainly) speed and sports boats in our private boat park. We can cater for crafts up to 20ft long - an ideal size for fun days out!
We boast a slipway that is for the exclusive use of our holiday home owners, something highly sought after on the island!
If you're interested in having a go of high-speed and high octane boating, why not try Rib Ride based in Menai who offer day experiences and are friends of the park.
