First and foremost, we want to welcome back all of out holiday home owners and thank them for their patience in these unprecedented time. Its is brilliant to see people back on the park and we want to thank everyone for their well wishes during the last few months. Hopefully, the we're through the worst and the weather gods will now be kind and give us a fantastic remainder of the Summer.
What to do in Conwy this Summer
Many local business have now reopened with new measures in place to ensure safety. This month we have put together a little list of things to do and places to visit whilst respecting social distancing rules and keeping everyone safe.
Picnic or barbecue on the beach
We are blessed in North Wales to have miles and miles of gorgeous beaches. None more so than Conwy Morfa, with its golden sand and stunning scenery. It is also a large beach which never gets overcrowded so it is easy to adhere to the guidance.
Why not make it extra tasty and support a brilliant local business in the process? Take a barbecue and buy your meat from Edwards on Conwy high street - the best around! Just remember to take everything, barbecue included, and dispose of responsibly.
Visit the harbour for fish and chips or (and!) and ice cream
Fish and chips on Conwy harbour is always a safe bet - it doesn't get much better! We have lots of brilliant chippy's in Conwy and whether it's boats coming and going or people watching, it's a fun place to sit and watch the world go by. A word of caution, though, always keep a look out for seagulls!
The harbour can get busy so be extra mindful of other people.
There is also delicious ice cream and the Liverpool Arms which has reopened if you fancy a beer or refreshing drink.
Sit back and relax at Berthlwyd Park
Or why not just sit back and relax at Berthlwyd? Unfortunately the coronavirus is still around and will be for some time to come. The safest and most relaxing thing to do is... nothing at all! Pull up a chair or lounger get a good book and enjoy the peaceful idyllic atmosphere that is unique to Berthlwyd.
