Summer Evening Strolls, RSPB Conwy – Wednesdays throughout June
Join the friendly volunteer wildlife guides at RSPB Conwy for an informal and informative walk around the reserve. Meet in the carpark every Wednesday evening at 7pm, throughout June. for an informal evening stroll around the reserve with our knowledgeable, friendly volunteer wildlife guides. No booking required. Meet at 7pm at the entrance gate to the reserve.
Antique, Collectors and Vintage Fair, Betws-y-Coed – Thursdays throughout June
This is a popular Antique and Collectors Fair in the Snowdonia National Park where visitors are encouraged to browse the stalls and chat. There’s a huge variety of items on sale – you may just find a rare antique for a bargain price! Adults will have to pay 30p for entry.
Jane McDonald Live in Concert, Venue Cymru, Llandudno – 9th June
Jane has recently benefitted from a revival recently thanks to her BAFTA winning show ‘Cruising with Jane McDonald’ and she remains one the nation’s best-loved entertainers. She is in Venue Cymru for her new live show. Prices and tickets: www.venuecymru.co.uk
Wales and the Sea, Plas Mawr, Conwy – 17th June – 15th July
Down the road in Conwy town centre in the beautiful and historic Pas Mawr is a new exhibition celebrating ‘Wales and the Sea’. This exhibition was created to celebrate the magnificent coast, dramatic seascapes, and active inland waterways of Wales. Entry charges apply.
Walk and Afternoon Tea with the Head Gardener, Bodnant Garden, Glan Conwy – 19th June
There are few places more beautiful than Bodnant Gardner. This is your chance to learn about the garden from their Head Gardener, John. Visitors will then enjoy fa special Ploughman's Afternoon Tea. Tickets £25.
A Midsummer Night's Dream, Conwy Castle – 22nd June
A classic Shakespeare play put on by The Lord Chamberlain’s Men in the historic setting of Conwy Castle, which will be sure to add to the story. From their website: “Bring a chair and a picnic, and enjoy a glorious summer’s evening watching one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies.” Tickets £17 adult.
Llanrwst Rural Show, Llanwrst – 29th June
Rural agricultural show always make for a brilliant family day out. Think lots of cattle, sheep, horses, fur and feather, locally produced food and crafts. There will also be a host of activities for all ages. Tickets £6.50 adult, £2.50 children.
