What to do this October
Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park - September 26th 2018
From Berthlwyd, you're in a brilliant central position to explore and attend events throughout North Wales. Even though the Summer is well and truly over, there are still plenty of events and activities to get involved in during October. Here's some of the highlights.
Conwy Real Ale Trail, September 29th.
Okay, not technically October but we're putting this post out just in time! This is a great day out and a mainstay in the areas events calendar. Starting in Llandundo, heading over to Rhos-On-Sea and Llysfaen before finishing up in Conwy, this is a great pub crawl. You don't have to worry about transport, it's all organised for you! Tickets are £15 (advanced) £18 on the day.
Welsh Rally GB, October 4th - 7th.
The Welsh Rally GB has become a hugely popular weekend in North Wales, bringing in loads of tourists and you don't have to be a petrol head to enjoy it. If standing and waiting in the wet Welsh countryside for a car to fly by in a matter of seconds isn't your idea of a weekend well spent, we recommend attending the opening event in Towyn 0n Thursday 4th October, 4pm. There will be brilliant car displays with flames and jumps plus a chance to see the cars and meet the drivers - Children would be in awe. Then on Sunday 7th October, the closing event takes over the whole of Llandudno town centre with a procession of the cars - the sounds of the engines will be ringing in your ears!
Conwy Food Fest, October 26th - 28th.
This is a truly brilliant weekend and not far from Berthlwyd - just a short taxi ride after you have enjoyed some of the amazing food stalls (not forgetting the beer and gin tents too!). It's not just food though, there's music and activities for children making it a great family day out. The night is also bustling and energetic but remember to wrap up warm!
Halloween, October 31st.
The local area really gets behind Halloween. Most town centres have activities for children and places like Surf Snowdonia. located just down the road, also host events. In previous years they have had scary movie drive-ins. There's always the cinema in Llandudno Junction too. If anyone is trick or treating onsite remember to call into our reception!
