Where to Watch the Fireworks this Bonfire Night nr Caernarfon
Coed Helen Holiday Park - October 18th 2017
Here's where to spend Bonfire Night this year in and around Caernarfon:
Caernarfon: Just a stones thrown from the park is Caernarfon Town Council's annual fireworks display, in fact we wouldn't be surprised if some of you will see the sky get lit up from your caravans - just look up! The best view, however, will be from the promenade area next to the castle. It starts from 6.30pm on Saturday, November 4.
Criccieth: Around 30 mins away from us in the car, there is a great Bonfire and firework display on the beach at Criccieth taking place on Friday November 3. This event kicks off at 6.30pm with the lighting of the bonfire with the fireworks following shortly after at 8pm. Hot street food is available along with live music and children's entertainment. Free but donations are encouraged to cover the cost of the event.
Beaumaris: The favourite amongst locals on Anglesey, Beaumaris hosts its fireworks display on the large Green near the Pier located on the seafront just off the town centre. It takes place on Saturday, November 4 between 7pm and 8.30pm. The bonfire itself is located near the Lifeboat Slipway and will be lit at 7pm by the town mayor with the fireworks starting at promptly 7.30pm. There is an entry charge of £5 per person, but children under 12 can go for free. If you want to make a full evening of it, Beaumaris’ Town Band will be on hand performing before the event starts at 5.30pm. There will also be a live performance from well-known Welsh rockers ‘Y Moniars’ at 9pm.
